Industrial varnisher F/X/M

Our client is a global supplier of counterweights and engineering castings (steel and cast iron) to heavy machinery OEMs around the world, supplying a range of products and services from two sites in the UK and a facility in Belgium.
The company is looking to recruit a Powder Coater to join their skilled team.


Your responsibilities:
- Selecting paints, varnishes, primers and other materials in accordance with
according to technical requirements;
- Preparing surfaces for the application of paint coatings, including degreasing, priming, manual and spray filling, sanding;
- Spray-gun application of paint coatings
- Carrying out refinishing of painted surfaces;
- Using technical documentation;
- Washing of painting equipment
- Maintaining and making minor repairs to painting equipment and liaising with equipment service technicians;
- Taking measurements and invoicing of painting and varnishing works;

- Experience in wet paint spraying
- Experience in body painting is an added advantage
- Experience in operating an overhead crane is welcome
- Good knowledge of the English language

- Bodywork experience is a plus
- Escalator experience is a plus
- Forklift experience is a big plus, not a must

- Attractive salary of € 18 gross/hour + food vouchers after 6 months of work
- Day shift work (Monday-Thursday 7.30am-4pm, Friday 7.30am-2pm)
