As a Transport Operations Specialist, you are responsible for ensuring excellent performance in all transport activities assigned to you. You will work closely with customer service, the warehouse, and supply chain departments to ensure deliveries are on time and complete. Your daily tasks include shipment planning, freight bill auditing, and carrier performance management.
An average workday consists of auditing freight invoices, creating monthly transport invoices for customers, and managing freight cost claims and approvals. You will monitor shipment statuses, coordinate pick-up and delivery capacities of carriers, and plan and book customer orders. Additionally, you will handle complaints and monitor carrier service levels.

Jouw vaardigheden & kennis
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business/Logistics, Engineering/Transportation
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a transport/logistics environment
- Strong analytical skills and ability to fulfill critical tasks
- Excellent interpersonal skills and mastery of customer relations
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
- Experience with transport management systems is a plus
