As a technical support specialist, you provide vital support for thermal products through phone, e-mail, and online chat. You interact with customers, field sales, and customer service to ensure they receive the assistance they need.
You assist in developing new opportunities and focus on enhancing customer interactions to boost sales of our client's products and services. Processing both external and internal customer inquiries efficiently is key; you handle technical queries and quotes through telephone, virtual meetings, and written communication in a timely manner.
In your role, you also process and maintain quotes within the ERP/Salesforce operating system, ensuring accurate documentation and tracking. You assist the customer service team in reviewing customer complaints related to technical issues, addressing customer concerns directly and escalating them if necessary.
Your contributions extend to the marketing department as well, where you help with technical training sessions and proofread marketing literature, ensuring clear communication.
You provide in-depth technical support to professional customers, including planners, architects, consultants, installers, contractors, specialized distributors, and representatives from our client. You are responsible for delivering pre-design and design outputs and coordinating the work of other departments when tasks are delegated to different executors.
Managing and creating quotes for configured and other make-to-order (MTO) products is another essential part of your role. You offer troubleshooting support for installation issues and provide startup assistance through telephone, virtual meetings, and written communications.
Additionally, you possess comprehensive knowledge of our client's software products and develop technical simulations, such as heat loss calculations for piping and other applications, which contribute to enhancing product performance and customer satisfaction.

Jouw vaardigheden & kennis
You hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electromechanics or have equivalent experience.
You have more than 1 year of experience in customer service or as a supervisor in an industrial environment. You are skilled in architectural and/or technical drawings (such as process flows and piping schematics). Ideally, you have experience with channels and electrical distribution. Some experience with SAP is a plus. You preferably have experience in thermodynamics.
You are fluent in English and French or German, with Dutch being an advantage. You possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, especially over the phone. You have technical knowledge of products. You are digitally literate and proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, PDF Foxit, and CRM (Salesforce).
You can manage multiple tasks simultaneously and adjust priorities to meet customer requests. You are capable of solving problems under time pressure. You can work with shared email and phones in a team environment. You have a “can-do” attitude and are expected to learn product information quickly.
As a team player, you have a positive and constructive impact on the team and maintain a professional attitude toward various roles within the operations organization. You can follow standard work processes and assist in creating them when necessary.
