Business Developer - Sea Logistics V/X/M

For a well-known player in the logistics sector, we are looking for a Business Developer to join the sales team as a representative for sea freight logistics.
Your Responsibilities:
Act as the first point of contact for small and medium-sized customers regarding operational questions and refer them to the appropriate departments.
Actively manage customer relationships through regular visits, building a strong customer portfolio, and creating new business opportunities.
Achieve growth targets, including cross-selling and promoting logistics solutions.
Resolve and follow up on financial and invoicing issues.
Register and report customer data, pipeline, and results.

Jouw vaardigheden & kennis
Your Profile:
You have a bachelor’s level of thinking.
Initial experience in international freight forwarding, preferably in transport and logistics (sea, air, or road transport).
Strong sales and negotiation skills with excellent communication abilities.
Knowledge of logistics processes, products, and pricing, particularly in sea freight.
Experience with sales information systems and reporting.
Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Fluent in English, both spoken and written. Dutch is a plus
