Automotive Technician (f/x/m)

We are seeking an experienced mechanic with a specialization in 4x4 vehicles, particularly Land Rover Defenders, but experience with other 4x4 vehicles like Toyota Land Cruisers is also valuable. The role involves both routine maintenance and comprehensive renovations to prepare vehicles for rallies and off-road expeditions, ensuring that they comply with all regulations.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Conduct daily maintenance and larger repairs on 4x4 vehicles. Experience working with Land Rover Defenders would be a significant advantage.
- Modify and retrofit vehicles and old-timers, including converting combustion engines to electric vehicles (EV) as part of ongoing projects.
- Handle complete renovations of vehicles to prepare them for expeditions and rallies, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of work performed and parts used.
- Use diagnostic tools and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Weld using MIG and TIG techniques.

Requirements:

- Extensive experience with 4x4 vehicles, especially Land Rover Defender. Experience with other 4x4 brands like Toyota Land Cruisers is also valuable.
- Experience or willingness to learn about retrofitting vehicles to electric power is a big plus, but not a requirement. Training can be provided.
- Proficiency in MIG and TIG Welding
- Extensive mechanical knowledge of engines and gearboxes.
- Excellent understanding of automotive electrical systems and diagnostic tools, specifically AUTOLOGIC for Land Rover vehicles.
- A passion for automotive work, demonstrating a deep commitment to both maintenance and complete renovations. Enjoyment of varied work tasks and challenges
- Ability to keep tools and workspace in excellent condition.

- Ability to keep accurate administrative records of work hours and parts used, using simple administrative systems.
- Experience with or ability to quickly learn how to document work effectively on provided work tickets
